Google's own help page on why a page is missing from Search is blunt: new sites take time, blocked pages never show, and thin junk gets ignored. Still, people message us like the internet broke overnight.

Quick reality check
- Search
site:yourdomain.com. Zero results usually means not indexed yet — or blocked. Pair that with URL Inspection in Search Console. - Open the homepage in a private window. Login wall? Soft 404? Google sees roughly what you see.

Stuff that keeps sites invisible
robots.txt blocking the whole site. A leftover noindex. "Discourage search engines" still on in WordPress. Brand-new domain with no sitemap and no links. Google's Page indexing report will usually name the reason if you've verified the property.
What to do next
- Verify the property in Search Console.
- Submit a clean XML sitemap — or check it with our sitemap checker.
- Request indexing on the homepage once. Then stop clicking.
