IndexMe is a helper tool and middleman that connects You with Google APIs and related utilities so You can manage indexing and SEO tasks. We do not own or operate Your websites. Problems with Your websites (content, technical issues, policy violations, or disputes with Google) remain Your responsibility; IndexMe is not responsible to You or to Google for anything wrong on Your website.

We use Your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

  • Service refers to the Website and related products we offer as a helper / middleman tool, including Google URL indexing, website and sitemap management, free SEO tools (such as sitemap, robots.txt, and page checkers), AI text detector and humanizer tools, blog content, subscriptions, and related support features. The Service does not include ownership, hosting, or control of websites You connect or submit.

  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

  • Third-party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social network website through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service.

  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • Website refers to IndexMe, accessible from https://indexme.in/

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

For free SEO tools, We may also log request metadata (such as tool used, target URL host, and rate-limit counters) to prevent abuse and keep the Service available.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:

  • Google

If You decide to register through or otherwise grant us access to a Third-Party Social Media Service, We may collect Personal Data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account, such as Your name and Your email address.

You may also have the option of sharing additional information with the Company through Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account.   • With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
  • With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Text You submit to free AI tools is processed to return a result for Your request. We do not use that text to train third-party generative AI models. Temporary logs or abuse signals may be retained for security and reliability.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

Sensitive credentials such as Google OAuth refresh tokens and service-account key material are stored with restricted access controls.

Google Account and API Data

When You connect Your Google account to our Service, We act as a middleman to help You use Google APIs. We may collect and process:

  • Basic Profile Information: Your name and email address, used to create Your Account, personalize Your experience, and communicate with You.

  • Google Search Console Data: Search analytics, sitemaps, and URL status information needed to manage and report on indexing activity for sites You authorize.

  • Google Indexing API Data: URLs You choose to submit or remove, and related API responses, so We can request indexing or delisting on Your behalf.

  • Google Site Verification API Data: Data needed to verify that You own or control the websites You add to our Service (including DNS verification tokens where applicable).

  • Google Cloud Platform Data: Where required to provide the Service, We may help set up or use Google Cloud resources (such as projects or service accounts) associated with Your Google account. Some of Your data may be stored or processed using Google Cloud services.

  • Google Custom Search API Data: If enabled for a feature, We may use Custom Search results to help validate links or indexing-related checks.

We only request Google scopes needed to operate these features. You can revoke access at any time from Your Google Account permissions settings; doing so may limit or disable parts of the Service that depend on Google APIs.

Google remains a separate company with its own terms and privacy practices. IndexMe does not control Google’s systems or decisions about Your sites. You are solely responsible for Your websites and for complying with Google’s terms and policies. We are not responsible to You or to Google for anything wrong with Your website.

How We Use Google-Connected Information

We use Google-connected information to:

  • Provide and improve indexing, verification, sitemap, and reporting features
  • Personalize Your experience
  • Communicate with You about Your Account and our Service
  • Analyze usage of the Service and improve our offerings
  • Ensure the security of the Service

Offline Access

To provide You with a seamless experience, we request offline access to Your Google account. This allows our Service to access authorized data even when You are not actively using it — for example, to submit URLs for indexing on a schedule and to collect usage analytics needed for Your Account. This access is secured using refresh tokens, which are long-lived credentials that allow our application to obtain new access tokens without requiring You to log in again.

Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE)

We use the Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) extension with our OAuth 2.0 authentication process. PKCE helps prevent authorization code interception attacks by ensuring that an authorization code can only be exchanged for an access token by our application.

Free SEO Tools

Our Website offers free SEO tools that may accept a public URL, sitemap, robots.txt path, or pasted text. When You use these tools:

  • Our servers may fetch publicly reachable pages or files You request so We can analyze them and return results (for example sitemap validation, meta/SERP preview, robots.txt checks, broken-link scans, schema checks, and similar utilities).
  • We intentionally restrict fetches to public internet resources and apply technical controls to reduce abuse (including rate limits and blocks on private/internal network targets).
  • Tool requests may be associated with a rate-limit cookie, IP address, and/or Your Account if You are signed in.
  • Do not submit credentials, private documents, or other confidential material through free tools unless a tool specifically requires that input and You understand it will be processed on our servers for that request.

AI Text Detector and Humanizer

Our AI Text Detector and AI Text Humanizer tools analyze or rewrite text You provide (directly or via a URL fetch where supported). These tools currently run using our own on-server heuristic/analysis engines; submitted text is not sent to third-party generative AI providers for model training. Output scores and rewritten text are informational aids only and may be imperfect. Avoid pasting highly sensitive personal data into these tools.

Payments

If You purchase a subscription, payment is processed by PayPal. PayPal may collect billing information under its own privacy policy. We may store subscription identifiers, plan status, and related billing metadata needed to activate and manage Your paid features.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services. The same applies to websites You connect or submit through IndexMe: those sites are Yours (or a third party’s), not Ours, and We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or any issues Google or others may raise about them.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
