Agreement to Our Legal Terms

We are IndexMe ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), operating in India. We operate the website https://indexme.in/ (the "Site") and related products and services that refer or link to these terms (collectively, the "Services").

IndexMe is a helper tool and middleman: we help you connect your Google account and use Google APIs (and related utilities) so you can manage indexing and SEO tasks more easily. We do not own, operate, host, or control your website, and we are not Google. We are liable for nothing to you, to Google, or to any third party.

These Legal Terms are a binding agreement between you and IndexMe. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Legal Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.

We may update these Legal Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page or when we notify you (for example by email at the address associated with your account). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

1. Our Services

IndexMe provides helper tools and features that may include, without limitation:

  • Google URL indexing: connecting your Google account, verifying site ownership, discovering URLs (including via sitemaps/crawls), submitting or requesting removal of URLs through Google APIs, tracking status, bulk/reindex flows, and optional scheduled auto-indexing.
  • Website & sitemap management: adding sites, managing sitemaps, monitoring link status, and related account dashboards.
  • Free SEO tools: public utilities such as sitemap validators/checkers, website and link SEO checkers, robots.txt and llms.txt tools, meta/SERP preview, HTTP status checks, indexability helpers, bulk URL checks, schema/JSON-LD checks, redirect and broken-link scanners, generators, DNS/TXT helpers, and similar utilities we publish at /tools/.
  • AI text tools: AI Text Detector and AI Text Humanizer for analyzing or rewriting submitted text.
  • Content & support: blog posts, help materials, notifications, and customer support.
  • Paid subscriptions: optional plans that increase limits or unlock paid features, billed through PayPal where offered.

Our role is limited to connecting you with Google (and providing related helper utilities). The Services depend in part on third-party platforms (especially Google). Availability, quotas, policies, and results from those platforms are outside our control. You remain solely responsible for your websites, content, technical setup, and compliance with Google’s and other third parties’ terms.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

We own or license the intellectual property in the Services, including software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content ("Content") and marks ("Marks"). Subject to these Legal Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer (except where applicable law prohibits this restriction), or commercially exploit our Content or Marks without our prior written permission, except for normal use of the Services or fair use allowed by law.

Feedback you send us about the Services may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

3. User Representations

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • registration and account information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete;
  • you have legal capacity and agree to comply with these Legal Terms;
  • you are not a minor in your jurisdiction, or if you are, you have parental permission;
  • you will not access the Services through unauthorized automated means that abuse rate limits or security controls;
  • you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and
  • your use will not violate applicable law or regulation.

4. Accounts and Google Access

Some features require an Account and Google OAuth authorization. You are responsible for activity under your Account and for keeping credentials secure.

When you connect Google, you authorize us to access Google APIs needed to provide the Services (which may include Search Console, Indexing API, Site Verification, and Google Cloud-related scopes). You must only connect sites and projects you own or are authorized to manage. You remain responsible for complying with Google’s terms and policies, including any Indexing API use-case restrictions.

We may store OAuth tokens and, where required for the Service, service-account or configuration materials associated with your Account. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings; revocation may disable related features.

5. Purchases, Payments, and Subscriptions

Paid plans, if offered, are billed in US dollars through PayPal unless we state otherwise. Prices, trial periods, and included limits may change; material changes to your plan will be communicated as required.

You agree to provide accurate purchase and account information and to keep it updated. Sales taxes may apply where required. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, or placed for unauthorized resale.

Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until canceled through the applicable PayPal or account cancellation flow. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us.

6. Free SEO Tools

Free tools are provided "as is" for legitimate SEO and site-management purposes. By using them you agree that:

  • you will only request analysis of URLs and resources you are authorized to check;
  • you will not use the tools to attack, scan, or probe systems without authorization, or to target private, internal, or non-public networks;
  • you will respect rate limits and will not circumvent security or abuse controls;
  • tool results are informational estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect; and
  • we may throttle, suspend, or block tool access to protect the Services or third parties.

7. AI Text Detector and Humanizer

AI text tools provide heuristic analysis and rewriting assistance. Results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose (including academic integrity, compliance, or publication decisions). You are solely responsible for how you use outputs. Do not submit unlawful content or highly sensitive personal data. We may limit usage to prevent abuse.

8. Middleman Role; Your Website; Indexing and Google

IndexMe acts only as a middleman / intermediary helper tool between you and Google. We pass requests you authorize (such as URL submit or remove requests) through Google APIs and show you related status where available. We do not decide whether Google crawls, indexes, ranks, demotes, or removes your pages.

You are solely responsible for your website. That includes content, quality, legality, SEO practices, robots/sitemap configuration, server availability, security, malware, spam, cloaking, doorway pages, copyright, trademarks, privacy practices on your site, and compliance with Google Search, Google Search Console, Indexing API, and other Google terms and policies. If anything is wrong with your website—technical errors, policy violations, penalties, delisting, ranking loss, legal claims, or any other issue—IndexMe is not responsible to you, to Google, or to any third party.

Submitting a URL through IndexMe does not guarantee that Google will crawl, index, rank, or keep indexed any page. Indexing outcomes depend on Google systems, your site’s quality and technical access, quotas, and policies outside our control. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google except as a user of Google APIs. "Google" is a trademark of Google LLC.

Any dispute, enforcement action, account restriction, API quota denial, or claim by Google arising from your websites or your use of Google products is solely between you and Google. IndexMe is not a party to that relationship and accepts no liability for it.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • use the Services in violation of law, third-party rights, or Google API terms;
  • submit spam, malware, phishing, or deceptive content for indexing or analysis;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • interfere with or overly burden the Services, including by bypassing rate limits;
  • use the free tools as a general-purpose attack scanner or to fetch non-public targets;
  • resell, scrape, or systematically harvest the Services or Content without permission;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent ownership of websites; or
  • use the Services to compete with us by copying substantial non-public functionality or Content without authorization.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of websites, URLs, text, and other materials you submit ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Services you request (for example, fetching a public page for an SEO check or submitting a URL to Google APIs).

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove User Content or suspend access if we reasonably believe it violates these Legal Terms or creates risk.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use personal data.

12. Service Management and Availability

We reserve the right to monitor use for security and abuse prevention, and to refuse service, limit features, or suspend/terminate Accounts that violate these Legal Terms. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services (including free tools) with or without notice. We are not liable for downtime, maintenance, or third-party outages.

13. Term and Termination

These Legal Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any violation, risk, or legal reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

15. Disclaimer

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT INDEXING OR SEO/AI TOOL RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. WE DO NOT WARRANT, GUARANTEE, OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONDITION, CONTENT, LEGALITY, SECURITY, OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY WEBSITE YOU CONNECT OR SUBMIT THROUGH THE SERVICES, NOR FOR ANY ACTION OR DECISION BY GOOGLE REGARDING YOUR WEBSITES OR ACCOUNT.

16. Limitations of Liability

INDEXME IS LIABLE FOR NOTHING. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INDEXME AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU, TO GOOGLE, OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS, OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE SERVICES, YOUR WEBSITE, GOOGLE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER. THAT IS IT. THERE IS NO MONEY CAP AND NO BACKUP AMOUNT.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your websites or User Content; anything wrong with your website (technical, legal, SEO, security, or policy-related); your use of the Services; your breach of these Legal Terms; or your violation of any law or third-party rights or terms (including Google’s terms, policies, API rules, and any dispute between you and Google).

18. Electronic Communications

Visiting the Site, creating an Account, or emailing us constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications from us and agree that electronic agreements, notices, and disclosures satisfy any legal writing requirement.

19. Miscellaneous

These Legal Terms and any policies posted on the Services constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Legal Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
