Manual indexing works until life gets busy. Someone forgets. A holiday week goes by. Suddenly you've got forty pages Google never heard about. Automatic submission is just: connect once, let the schedule run, glance at errors when something smells off.
Sitemaps aren't automation
A sitemap is a list. Google may or may not care about a new entry today — that's how sitemap discovery works. If you're also burning the Search Console daily quota on random URLs, you've got two weak systems and no pipeline. For big properties, skim Google's notes on managing crawl budget too.
What auto-indexing looks like for us
In IndexMe you attach the site, point at the sitemap, and turn on auto-indexing for that property. New URLs get picked up on the job cadence you set and notified through the Indexing API. You can still shove a single URL through for launches — same idea as realtime submits — without babysitting every page.
- Sign in at the dashboard.
- Add the website and finish Search Console verification.
- Add the sitemap URL.
- Flip auto-indexing on.
- Optional: bulk-submit whatever is already sitting there, then let automation take new ones.
